About the Group
The Economic Solutions Group is a not-for-profit group of companies delivering a range of business support, skills, training and recruitment services to individuals and employers across Greater Manchester and the UK.
Within Greater Manchester we also trade as Manchester Solutions and have formal links with strategic partners, including the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) and MIDAS. As the Chamber of Commerce's service delivery arm, Manchester Solutions represents a significant resource for employer engagement and employer service delivery. We deliver the Chamber's membership scheme; recruitment and training services to 5,300 employer members; other services to a further 8,100 non-member employer customers.
Services for individuals cover every step in a person's career lifecycle: work experience placements for those in school, training and employment services, through to enterprise support for those starting up in business.
Through contracts held with the LSC, DWP, North West Development Agency (NWDA), Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), HM Prison Service, Probation Service and local authorities we train place people from some of the most disadvantaged and disengaged people within Greater Manchester.
