The Economic Solutions Group is a not-for-profit group of companies delivering a wealth of business support, skills, training and recruitment services to individual customers and employers across Greater Manchester and the UK.

Within Greater Manchester we also trade as Manchester Solutions and have a strength, breadth and range of formal links with strategic partners, including the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), AGMA and MIDAS. As the Chamber of Commerce's service delivery arm, Manchester Solutions represents a significant resource for employer engagement and employer service delivery - delivering the Chamber's membership scheme; recruitment and training services to 5,300 employer members. We also deliver services to a further 8,100 non-member employer customers, including an extensive range of employers across the third, public sector and private sectors.

Services for individuals cover every step in a person's career lifecycle: from work experience placements for those in school right through to Enterprise services for those planning to start up their own business - in addition to the development and employment services provided through Work Solutions.

We work with some of the most disadvantaged and disengaged people within Greater Manchester. Through contracts held with the LSC, DWP, North West Development Agency (NWDA), Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG), HM Prison Service, Probation Service and local authorities.
