We offer a range of standalone safety training courses, which can be linked to form a bespoke or more in-depth managers' package, dependant on customer needs.

This can be used either as a staff induction or a refresher session and will be geared to the individual client's business operations (courses run both full and half days). The session includes
and places a strong emphasis on carrying out practical risk assessments. The half day is not accredited, the full day course is CIEH accredited
Principles, practices and understanding of manual handling, kinetic lifting and risk assessment (half day session).
Involves both the training of staff and the completion of individual workstation assessments (half day session)
For any staff involved in face-to-face client/customer situations, this one day course is the basic building block to make staff aware of their legal rights and to develop competence in de-escalating aggressive situations or gaining physical release from an attacker.
This full day session builds on the Breakaway Training day to provide greater understanding of rights, duties and physical techniques, should physical intervention become necessary. Business risk and circumstances may dictate that staff use physical intervention, which will necessitate this additional training session. Suitable for Education, Care and Hospitality, i.e. Door Supervisors, Security Staff etc.
Geared towards small businesses and with a number of days spent on site, this package provides an agreed pick and mix of policy, procedures and risk assessment review (including carrying out a Fire Risk Assessment if required), action plans, site visits, training, an advice line, newsletters and annually retained competent person service
Additional Risk Assessments and training will be charged appropriately
Carrying out or assiting businesses with the risk assessment process, ideally to build on the Safety Diagnostic. Example areas include: fire, premises, noise, COSHH, workstations, pregnancy, young people, electrical and work equipment (Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) available).
